“INSTA-GUARD” FACEMASK W/EYE SHIELD
All Secure-Gard® procedure masks feature latex-free tubed elastic ear loops that are sonically welded to the outer layer of the mask, so the tips of the loops do not occlude vision or irritate the wearer. A contoured nose cut-out helps exhaled air escape through the mask, while downward-folding pleats help ensure that splashed or sprayed fluids do not pool in ``pockets" of the mask near the wearer`s face.
Masks with eye shield feature an optically clear shield of 4-mil-thick film. In addition to being flared and prescored to provide excellent side coverage, the eye shield is treated on both sides with a patented antifogging agent and can be easily removed at the end of the procedure without damaging the mask. Masks designated fluid-resistant meet ASTM standards for synthetic blood penetration at the 120mm Hg level.

NIOSH approved against formaldehyde and certain organic vapors. Use with 3M™ Half-Face respirator with bayonet style cartridge holders.
When properly fitted, helps provide respiratory protection from formaldehyde and certain organic vapors at concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces. OSHA requires that gas-proof goggles be worn with half facepiece respirators when used against formaldehyde.
